Every girl deserves to feel confident about her sexuality, for every boy to be aware and educated about sexuality.
On Monday 3rd June, to mark this years World Menstrual Hygiene Day with the theme of “it’s time for action”, Latiwa Development Foundation in partnership with Ray Of Hope Empowerment Foundation and Slay Dot Aid Initiative, had the girls of Government Day Secondary School Tukpech and Enal Private School both in Kuje, Abuja at heart by organizing a sensitization and distribution reach out to them.
The goal was not only to emphasize the urgency of this public health issue but also highlight the transformative power of improved menstrual hygiene to empower the world’s women, girls and boys will unlock their economic and educational opportunities.
It was a refreshing, happy and exciting time of learning for the girls.
A total of 250 girls and boys from the ages of 12 to 16 were reached. Sanatory Items were also distributed to the girls
